Description:

In this interdisciplinary course, we will study human psychology through the lens of art. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the many applications of creative skills in a variety of professions and careers. We will challenge ourselves to explore what connects psychology and creativity from biological, philosophical, and social perspectives. Daily creative exercises will develop skills including visual ideation and critical thinking.

Students will have the opportunity to work on a personal creative project under the guidance of an experienced professional artist. If you have an interest in art and the human mind, but wonder how you can turn this passion into a successful future, this is the perfect class for you. We will explore this specialty field to learn what opportunities are out there. Creativity exists in many fields in ways you may not expect.
