If you are on campus and you have an emergency when the University is closed, please contact the University's Division of Public Safety at (215) 573-3333. Members of the Penn community should register with PennAlert to receive emergency communications directly.

Emergency closings will also be posted on the homepage and recorded on voicemail for the College of Liberal and Professional Studies main number, (215) 898-7326. In the case of inclement weather or other emergencies that could affect the opening of the University, call (215) 898-6358 after 7 a.m.
